Brought into the mazda dealer schaumburg,il due to dashboard warning lights came on ; the tcf of light off light ,the red brake light and the stability indicator. The dealer indicated that unaware of any problems related to this incident. Claimed their the brake fluid was low but no leak with the brake fluid. The dealer filled up the brake fluid. ( lights would randomly come on when breaking on hills or inclines) i was working in madison , wi. 8/20/12-8/24/12-same problem with vehicle- with warning lights. Although, now i had problems with the brake pedal and stopping the vehicle in traffic. I brought the cx9 to mazda , elmhurst il. The dealer stated the car had the master cylinder and the power booster were leaking brake fluid and needed to be repaired. The failure miles was 54,400 miles. The repair is going to be $950 to repair. I believe that mazda should pay for this repair since my vehicle is one of 37,000 vehicles with the problem that was not repaired. I don't understand why this isn't being checked during the service check ups and or being recalled by mazda. This repair isn't a normal wear and tear repair and the repair should be covered by mazda.

2003 Mazda Tribute - 4F2YZ04113K- Portage, MI: August 13th, 2012
The first 2 to 4 times the accelerator is used (not pushed hard), the cable sticks. We have to push harder on the pedal, then it suddenly releases. This causes the vehicle to jump in the direction chosen. It is very difficult to smoothly back our of the garage or parking space. Then the accelerator is slow to return to idle. It appears to be the same issue as recall nhtsa campaign #04v583000 for 2004 tributes, but our vehicle was built at the end of 2003.

2005 Mazda Tribute - 4F2CZ94145K- Thornton, CO: August 10th, 2012
I have a karr car alarm, dealer installed prior to purchase. Recently, while the car locked in the drive way, the alarm went off unexpectedly. Then while driving the door ajar alarm went off constantly. Went to karr and had a new alarm system put in. Still happens. Went to mazda and they found the rear passenger door lock assembly was defective. Had extended warranty and they fixed it. 11 days later the alarm went off again in the drive way while sitting there locked. Called mazda again and am scheduled to bring the car in to check it out again. Karr mechanic stated that he had the same problems with ford escape and mazda tribute customers all due to the door lock assemblies in the fact that the electrical mechanism seems to be reverse logic than other cars. This is becoming both annoying and frustrating. In the mean time i cannot lock the car in the drive way or when i am at stores - no security or theft-control.

2007 Mazda Mazdaspeed6 - JM1GG12LX71- Wausau , WI: August 9th, 2012
Loud clunk in the drive train. Took it in and found the transfer case had leaked enough oil for large parts to be dislodged. Looked and found there was a tsb on the issue but was never notified. In searching the internet, i have found numerous people who have experienced the same issue. Mazda is aware of this issue but does not contact the owners of the car. The resulting repair is very expensive and, i feel there is a chance of transfer case lock up and possible loss of control.

2012 Mazda Mazda3 - JM1BL1L81C1- San Francisco, CA: August 8th, 2012
The car sometimes surges during downshifting. I will be driving in moderate traffic in third gear. The traffic slows, and i let in the clutch and apply the brake. When the traffic starts to pick up again, i am going too slow for third, so i shift into second and let the clutch out. My right foot is just resting lightly on the gas pedal. The car has not been idling fast, but as soon as the clutch is engaged, the engine suddenly roars and the car leaps forward, even though i have not pressed the gas at all. I let in the clutch again to avoid an accident. When i let it out again, it works normally. This happens once, twice, or not at all in a 40-mile round trip out of town and back. It also happens frequently when i make a left turn without stopping, but where i need to slow and downshift. I coast into the turn with the clutch pedal in, shift down, and attempt to let the clutch out when coming out of the turn. I would expect the car to slow when i shift down unless i am pressing the accelerator, but something other than me is giving it gas. It is impossible to predict when this will happen, and it never happens twice in a row. I have made it happen on purpose, but i think that was pure luck. It happens when downshifting into any gear, but because of the heavy traffic in our area, it ends up usually being third to second. It has happened to me when downshifting into third or fourth also.

2004 Mazda Mazda6 - 1YVHP84C345- Arlington, TX: August 1st, 2012
My battery on my 2004 mazda 6 went out and i had to jump start it to. Go to work and come from work one day. The next day i took my battery to get checked to see what the issue was and they told me my battery was completely dead and it had only 6 months of usage. I put a new battery in my vehicle and as i installed the new battery i unplugged it to see if my alternator would kick in to make sure it was working correctly and as i put the battery back on a shortage happens and my wipers came on at full speed and all my lights were blinking on my dash and a smell of electrical wires burning started to happen and the entire electrical system has messed up. Turn signal lights don't work, headlights, bose stereo, hazard lights, reverse lights truck don't open windows don't go up or down and while i drive the speedometer does not track the velocity the needle goes crazy and my e-brake light is on and track control light is blinking and the air bag lights come on all the time. I do not know where to start to fix this issue but i'm really disappointed in this because i just have 8 months with my vehicle from a dealer ship and they checked out car just fine. This is going to be a super high cost to repair all the damages. Just from a change of a battery. And to top it all thank god i wasn't in the car because their was a small fire in the wires but it went away quick.
